If you're having trouble logging in to Awaio, start with the quick checks below. If your specific problem is listed further down, jump straight to it.
Quick fixes: try these first
- Check you're using the right sign-in method. Awaio supports Microsoft, Google, and email/password login. If your organisation uses SSO, using the wrong method (e.g. email/password when your company requires Microsoft) will fail even with the correct credentials.
- Confirm you're using the correct email address. If you have more than one work or personal account, make sure you're signing in with the one your admin actually invited.
- Update the app. Check the App Store or Google Play for a pending Awaio update.
- Clear the app cache and restart. On mobile, fully close Awaio, clear its cache from your phone's app settings, and reopen it. On web, clear your browser cache or try an incognito/private window.
- Check your internet connection. Login requires a working connection to reach both Awaio and your identity provider (Microsoft/Google).
I keep getting logged out and asked to sign in again
This is most common on Android and usually means the phone is killing Awaio's background session instead of an actual login failure.
- Make sure Awaio has unrestricted battery usage: on most Android phones this is under Settings → Apps → Awaio → Battery. Manufacturer battery-savers (Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei especially) are the most common cause of forced daily re-logins.
- Update the app: session-handling fixes are shipped regularly.
- Avoid swiping Awaio away from your recent apps list, as some Android versions treat this as a full sign-out.
- If your company uses Microsoft Conditional Access, frequent re-authentication can also be enforced by your IT department's policy rather than by Awaio. Check with your IT team if it happens on every device.
I see a repeated Google consent or permission warning
We're aware of an issue where signing in with Google can show a repeated notification/consent warning on each login. A fix is in progress. In the meantime:
- Accepting the consent prompt still completes your sign-in normally, it's safe to tap through.
- Recommended: if it's blocking you entirely, tap Continue with email on the login screen and set an Awaio password. This always works and skips Google entirely.
I can't log in with Microsoft
If you see a Microsoft error screen or a "GET request" error, this is almost always a Microsoft tenant setting, not an Awaio outage. Our recommendation: skip Microsoft and log in with Continue with email using an Awaio password instead — it always works and gets you in immediately. See Can't login with Microsoft for the full fix if you'd rather keep using Microsoft login.
I've forgotten my password
See Reset your password for step-by-step instructions on phone and desktop.
I've logged in, but it says I'm not a member of a community yet
This usually means your login identity doesn't exactly match the email address your admin invited, even if you've received and "accepted" an invite email.
- Check the email shown on your Awaio profile against the email your invite was sent to; they must match exactly, including the domain.
- Ask your admin to check the invite's status in the Admin Portal. If it's still pending or was sent to a different address, they can resend it or add you directly instead of waiting on a self-service invite.
- If your company uses Microsoft or Google SSO, make sure you're logging in with the work account tied to that email; not a personal account with the same name.
Still stuck?
Contact us via website chat or email with your account email and what step you're stuck on. If we ask for logs, see Enable debug/log mode from the mobile app or from the Admin Portal or web app; both work even if you can't log in.
