Some resources: such as desks, meeting rooms, and parking spaces: require you to confirm your booking before it starts. This prevents ghost bookings and ensures unused resources are released back for others.
How confirmation works
When your booking is approaching, Awaio sends you a notification. Open the notification or the Awaio app and confirm your arrival. The booking is then marked as confirmed and the resource is reserved for you.
If confirmation is not completed within the designated timeframe, the system automatically releases the resource back into the availability pool: making it bookable for someone else.
Why this matters
Unconfirmed bookings that go unused are a common source of wasted office capacity. The confirmation step ensures that only people who are actually present hold a reservation, keeping utilization data accurate and resources available for everyone.
