Redd Barna has chosen the Awaio Workplace App for their new fantastic office in Oslo. With the Awaio Workplace App employees can now easily find and book meeting rooms integrated with the Outlook calendar.
Smart locks on personal lockers and every wardrobe cabinet
Awaio Smart Locks are installed across the office with a mix of functions, including personal and team lockers. Every personal locker carries one. In addition, all men's and women's wardrobe cabinets are fitted with Awaio Smart Locks as well.
All of it is handled through the Awaio Workplace App, so employees can book, open, and share their lockers between each other without anyone administering keys or codes. Locker management becomes one click instead of a spreadsheet and a key cabinet.
Room booking, from wherever people already are
Awaio Room Booking runs the meeting rooms. Employees find a free room by map or list in the Workplace App, or on a screen by the door — and the booking is reflected in the Outlook calendar either way.
Booking a room without leaving Outlook
Most meetings still start in Outlook. That is why Redd Barna also uses the Awaio add-in for Microsoft Outlook, which puts an Awaio Workplace button straight into the Outlook ribbon.
Clicking it opens a task pane next to the meeting. The pane already knows the meeting time and the number of attendees, so it leads with rooms that actually fit — with photos, location details, floor guides, and a way to report a fault, right there in the booking flow. Pick a room and it is added to the invite. A desk for the day or a parking spot is one tab away in the same pane.
The add-in is Microsoft-verified and published on Microsoft Marketplace, so an IT admin deploys it from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center like any other app — no manifest XML to sideload. See Installing the Awaio Outlook add-in for the full walkthrough.
