Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to digital accessibility, the standards we follow, known limitations, and how to reach us with accessibility issues.

Last updated: April 2026  ·  Awaio AB  ·  Corp. ID: 559257-9832

Awaio AB is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience on our website and web application, and apply relevant accessibility standards in our development process.

We believe accessible design is good design, it benefits everyone who uses our products, not just those with disabilities.

WCAG 2.1 AA

Our target conformance level is WCAG 2.1 Level AA as defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

The website www.awaio.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

We are actively working to resolve remaining non-conformances as part of our ongoing development cycle.

How we build for accessibility

Accessibility of www.awaio.com relies on the following technologies:

  • HTML5
  • CSS
  • JavaScript (SvelteKit)
  • WAI-ARIA

We use these technologies in combination with semantic HTML and ARIA roles to support assistive technologies including screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice control software.

Areas we are improving

Despite our efforts, there may be some areas of the website that do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:

  • Third-party content: Embedded content from third-party services (such as video players and chat widgets) may not fully conform to our accessibility standards. We are working with these vendors or seeking alternatives.
  • PDF documents: Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are updating these on a rolling basis.
  • Complex data visualisations: Certain interactive charts and graphs may not have complete text alternatives. We are adding descriptions and improving keyboard access.

If you encounter a limitation not listed here, please let us know using the contact information below.

Escalation procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility feedback, you may contact the relevant supervisory authority in your country.

In Sweden, the supervisory authority for web accessibility is the Agency for Digital Government (DIGG), which oversees compliance with the Web Accessibility Directive for public sector bodies. For private sector websites, the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket) handles complaints related to digital accessibility.

You can reach DIGG at www.digg.se.
