iOS 4.72.0
Awaio iOS 4.72.0 turns NFC tags and QR codes into a one-tap way through the workplace, opens booking forms straight from email, and gives admins new tools for locks and lockers.
NFC door taps, one-button locker unlock, and clearer lock errors
Tap a tag and the door opens, booking emails lead straight to the form, and admins get sharper control over locks and lockers.
4 New for everyone 4 For admins 2 Improvements
Supported improvements include:
Hardware support
- Open a door by tapping its NFC tag Hold your phone to the NFC tag on a door and it opens. It even works when the app is closed.
- One scan, the right answer NFC tags and QR codes work the same way now. The app opens the door, lets you book a free desk or room in two taps, or tells you someone else is using it.
- NFC shortcut on the home screen A new NFC button sits right next to QR. It only shows on iPhones that support NFC.
Booking
- Tap the email, fill in the form Form links in booking emails now open the form in your browser, ready to fill in. Before, the app opened and nothing happened. No sign-in needed, and the same link still works later if you want to look back at your answers.
- Open button right after booking Book a room with door access and the Open button is right there on the confirmation screen.
Platform
- Unlock every locker at once Open a whole cluster of lockers in one go. Lockers that are booked right now are skipped, so people’s belongings stay locked away. Each one can still be opened on its own if needed.
- Open cloud-connected locks from admin Open locks like Inlet straight from the admin section, without a booking or being in the access group.
- Re-add a removed NFC tag A tag removed from a resource can be added back. The app confirms first, and the tag keeps its history.
Reliability
- Battery and firmware now in the event log Battery changes and firmware updates now show up in the lock’s event log, with who did it and when.
- Clearer messages when a lock can’t open You now see the actual reason instead of a plain “Error.”
Best suited for employees moving through nfc- and qr-enabled doors, and facility teams managing locks and lockers.
