Voice principles
- Clear — We say what we mean. No jargon, no filler. One idea per sentence.
- Human — We write like a thoughtful colleague — not a corporate press release.
- Confident — We make statements. We avoid hedging language like "sort of" or "might possibly".
- Respectful — We don't oversell. We trust the reader to understand what we're offering.
Writing rules
- Sentence case — Headlines and labels use sentence case, not Title Case
- Short sentences — Aim for 15–20 words maximum per sentence in UI copy
- Active voice — "Book a desk" not "A desk can be booked"
- No exclamation marks — Confidence does not require exclamation
- Second person — Write to "you" — not "users" or "customers"
