Awaio supplies Awaio locks in existing storage cabinets to Grend. Grend develops unique living environments in nature for students and tourists – with a minimal footprint on nature. Grend’s vision is to improve the living conditions of students, create positive impact for the local business community, and make it more attractive for tourists, mainly families with children, to visit smaller places in Norway. Awaio locks will be installed in existing storage cabinets in the residences, and will reduce administration, as well as streamline and simplify the ongoing change of residence between student and tourist. Students can then find, open and share their locker from their mobile phone app. Grend manages it all using the Awaio web portal in its own branded Grend community.
The home has a total of 96 square meters. incl. outdoor space, is designed with Snøhetta and produced in Norway by the SVENHEIM group and delivered by Nature Compact Living. It contains 2 bedrooms, kitchen from Huseby AS, living room, bathroom and everything else you need for a good stay during your studies. It’s also amazing that the students live in nature, but with a short distance to the University of South-Eastern Norway. Furniture is supplied by Holmris/FormFunk.
